The Moon is full, so is my Heart.
Everytime I look at the moon I think about how much I wanna be like her. She’s seen every person who’s ever existed in this world. She’s probably heard every story ever told. She carries history, she is resilient. She goes through phases and somehow she is one of the most beautiful experiences in this life. The patience that the moon possesses when she’s going through phases is something that seems so familiar to me. It doesn’t matter what phase the moon is in, she is still beautiful. Yes, sometimes she is empty, sometimes she is halfway there, but eventually she is full again. She takes her time, she moves on when necessary, she flows. Just like I take time, just like I move on, just like I flow. I do not rush life or my emotions, I take my time. I savour it, I live in it until it is time for the next phase. And then, I am patient. And when it is not my favourite phase, I still find the beauty in this experience. Perhaps I am more similar to the moon than I realize.
I had a wonderfully hectic and exhausting week. I am still attempting to get back to my normal sleeping pattern but I have not been successful. Everyday is a challenge to wake up before 11 am, have a full day before the sky gets dark at 4 pm and sleep at a reasonable hour. I will keep you posted if I succeed this upcoming week.

I have never officially created a wishlist (or want? need? I’ll decide eventually), but this year (for fun, of course) I decided to make one.
ruched duvet/bedding. because why not? i want to feel like a princess when i’m in bed.
acne studios multipocket bag. the most beautiful piece! i just know it will go so well with my wardrobe.
le labo gaiac 10 perfume. this is my favourite scent and i am bummed i missed their city collection sale. i don’t want to wait till next september.
.nibgnus eyelet hairband. so chic but also so casual. plus i’ve been loving the idea of hairbands recently.
chloe oversized glasses. i’ve been obsessed with oversized 60s/70s glasses. i’m a little bored of the rectangular bayonetta frames. i want something bold.
vintage overnight suitcase. i’ve been gravitating towards 70s everything lately and i think this would be a great piece to add to my room decor.
vintage sony dream machine alarm clock. it just looks so cool and my phone’s alarm doesn’t work well.. it’s too soft! i need what they used to use in the 80s when they would wake up at 6 am.
It is very easy for me to over-fixate and deep dive into any subject or interest that catches my eyes. This week, these are what I’ve been obsessed with:
90s to early 2000s film posters. they are just so fun! even the films themselves. they don’t make movies so fun, colourful, and with a lot of character anymore.
_weloveyouu_ tiktok account. makes my heart warm. what a beautiful reminder of how beautiful and tender life is.
60s/70s oversized glasses. again. i need bold specs.
80s interior. especially ones with conversation pits and glass blocks as walls.
cher’s dresses in her tv show. i mean… hello?!?! she was the best dressed. i want my birthday dress to be inspired by one of her outfits.
90s minimalism. i feel like fall and winter fashion always calls for a flair of 90s minimalism. it’s easy and classy.
